Cursor is a VS Code fork, labeled as an “AI Code Editor”.

The interface and experience is the same as VS Code but is different in a few ways.

• Codebase aware - unlike GitHub Copilot (at the time of writing), the Cursor Copilot++ has context of the codebase.
• AI first - Cursor has baked in AI as a primitive, making it easier to use AI as a true copilot.
